Yes and no, it's a wave of "freinship" Generally you'll only see the same type of bikes waving at each other. IE Harleys to Harley's, etc, etc, At least thats how it was when I had one

Used to have a Virago 1100 when I lived in NY...

Being as fuel prices are so high I counted 14 bikes on my 8 mile road trip home.

I noticedthem all doing it. now that you mention it there was a crothc rocket that passed by a harley or chopper and neither waved.

Im gonna start waving at every ford ranger I see.
