To get to Win8.1, install the following updates and in that order.
Recommended Install Order

Then apply other updates.

My video uploading site of choice aka videobam is no more.

Can anyone recommend a site like it that gives embeddable code?

I tried the site sendvid that videobam is recommending, but after 5 hours a 6 minute vid is still "being prepared for playback". I kind of think it will never work

I can't use youtube or other sites where your uploads get mixed with "the public" and searchable.

True. I now use Hitman Pro (subscription req'd) and Malwarebytes (free) along with Trend Micro antivirus. I'm a little bit overcautious since I go to questionable sites to do questionable things.

How do you find Windows Media Player in Windows 10? Simply trying to play a DVD seems to be a nightmare lol...Windows 7 was easy just stick it in & it plays.

Question about CCleaner. Sometime after one of the Windows 10 updates CC seemed to change. If I go to delete program it shows the programs were installed every time I use them. If I sort by install date it lists all the programs I used that day. Is this normal or did I get a Trojan of some kind?

I suggest you go get the latest version of CC and install it. My CC does not act the way you describe. Maybe run Malwarebytes scan to see if you picked up something?? It's about 20 minutes and worth the time.
