LOL! Maybe but that's alright, Snake. I'm seriously intrigued by snakes and spiders. They're really beautiful creatures. Some could definitely kill me but I still love looking at them.

I wouldn't call them pets. They are more to look at. Otherwise they require very little attention. Most do fine at about 80-82 degrees they need certain degrees of humidity depending on the species and I feed them a few criskets once a week or a small mouse once a month or so. You never change the cage except to pull out food scrapes and old molts. Very shallow water bowl and a hide spot aand you're all set. PM me before you get one and I'll send you in the right direction.

Very few spiders can kill you. I don't think any tarantulas can. Those Sydney Funnel Webs from AU will definitely end your fun. Actually a very small percentage of the snakes can kill you either.

Desert Hairy Scorpion (Hadrurus arizonensis). The only scorpion I have right now. Very mild sting.
Mexican Red leg (Brachypelma smithi). I've had her about 10 years. She gave me 2 egg sacks and I have a few of her babies too. Which are adults now.
Brazilian Black & White (Nhandu coloratovillosus) This one is about two years old. It still has a lot of growing to do. It's only about the size of a silver dollar right now.
Huntsman Spider (Heteropoda sp) Not a tarantula. First picture she is hiding and the second is out of focus but you can see the white egg sack. She will carry that around taking care of it until it is time for the babies to hatch. Then she will rip the sack open to let the babies out.

Loving the Mexican Red Leg....shes a beauty. I love to coloring. There's such a thing as a mild sting? Theres only one sting in my language and its the one that hurts. I live around scorpions and only been stung once on my foot at a wedding. Hurt like hell and left a mark for weeks.

Mild in the sense that it will just hurt. With some stings the pain is extremely intense, and some can even kill you.
The red leg just molted, so she looks perfect. She's a nice spider. She'd have to be in a real bad mood to bite.
