I personally didn't read what you had to say. When I see your handle - I immediately think of amateur facials. Dude, where are the amateur facials? I love me some amateur facials.

Look - this place is a wicked combination of all things worldly. Whether it's porn/music/deep banter/sports/general fuckery.......I think it's a place for all of that - no need to curtail anything.

Generally speaking - I don't think there is a magic bullet for prompting new members. Either you are the forum chatting type or you aren't.....but free music and titty always helps lube up for the Shasta fist.

I personally haven't posted any music/porn because this place is stacked like the library of congress but I will, when I can.

i slowed down in the last few weeks cuz it's the end of summer and my kid is back in school. when the schedule slows down and falls into a routine, i'll be around more often. i think a lot of posters are back in college and they'll be back soon.

i'm not sure i think something should be done about the drop in posts. even if we made it members only, the new members would join just for the downloads and never join the discussion. just the nature of the beast.

i voted member only ala 'noid by mistake. i meant to choose #3.

i am guilty of it but only when they deserve it---such as requesting/not coding/etc. If you don't take the time to read the right way to do things---well you're not going to get a big warm welcoming hug from me, instead you'll get flamed....or i'll borrow Shasta's rubber fist and loosen your asshole so much you'll shit your pants like John McCain for months.

Some people need to be flamed, but give them a chance to learn our ways before flaming them and more people might be inclined to post. If after a few posts they are still idiots, and have been explained their errors but keep doing it, then rip them a new a-hole. I am all for that.

I fully expect to get thrashed - it's part of the fun and actually one of the reasons I joined. So curtail that.....and you may very well turn down the essence of what makes DSF so fun.

I'm not saying that you losers should stop flaming each other, just give the noobs a chance. I know it makes people feel special to abuse people behind the safety of their computers. They would never be rude to people to their face because they would get their ass kicked.
