So we all know that most people tip between 10%-20%...
But how about the dude at the car wash?
the hotel maid?
how about the pizza deliver guy... is it a couple of dollars ok or do you go by a percentage of the total bill.
and how about the gay guy serving you your gay venti frappuccino?
I know there's a stepPOLL of how much to tip, but I want to know exactly who qualifies for a tip... tell us who to tip.. and who not to tip?
I don't tip because society says I have to. All right, if someone deserves a tip, if they really put forth an effort, I'll give them something a little something extra. But this tipping automatically, it's for the birds. As far as I'm concerned, they're just doing their job.

I don't know, it depends, if the waitress is really busting her balls with a packed restaurant and still finds the time to refill my coffee than sure, why not. On the other hand I'm not gonna tip the pizza guy, the faggot probably rubbed his balls on my pepperoni anyway.

i know
Well, i over tip servers if they are good bcuz I used to be a server for years.
You get a TIP.. Yaaaaay!!:
- Servers
- Bartenders
- Strippers
- Sometimes i will throw the coin change in the barista's tip jar...
- Movers (if they are pleasant and don't hit the walls with the furniture)
- I leave a small tip for the maids at hotels on the day i check out
- I DO tip the pizza delivery guy
GTFO.. you don't get a TIP:
- People that are basically cashiers but still have tip jars for some reason :
- Valets (i dont valet after a valet took my car joy riding)
- Any "To-Go" servers bcuz it's usually included in the bill
- Nachos after a BJ... he gets enough pleasure from it, no need for me to tip
I go to a family owned breakfast place about 2 times a week. They make all completely homemade breakfast stuff... crepes, muffins, donuts, croisants, etc.
It is a small place and only the family works there but when you buy something they just put it in the bag and you pay.
For some reason they have a HUGE tip jar!! I hate it too.
They own the business. Only family works there so the money they make stays in their family. Since they make all their own products the profit margins are better... AND THEY STILL WANT A TIP???
Your customers' business and their loyalty to your business isn't enough??
Am i in the wrong here? I felt insulted the 1st time i saw the tip jar... but their food is great so i always go back, plus i like that they are family owned. But the tip jar rubs me the wrong way every time i see it.
And i NEVER have and never will put even 1 dime into that jar...
