i kinda miss...
I kinda miss having stupid random threads
Your mission, if you choose to accept it. We once had a DSFer that would start random threads. I mean really stupid, random threads. One time it was about jeans... a thread about JEANS fer chrissakes. That person never cared if the thread died or ppl thought it was ridiculous... he just kept on. But ya know what? I kinda miss having stupid random threads. They made me laugh sometimes. Nowadays, everyone is so freaking scared to start a thread that doesn't go anywhere. Start a thread with a similar theme as one that we had 2 years ago... guess what happens? Something like this: Code:
Content, Pictures and Download links visible to registered users only. REGISTER NOW to access all areas that are invisible to non-members. well, something to that effect. I want to call for more randomness at DSF. The randomness and freedom to talk about anything was one of the things that made this place so much fun and i feel we've kind of lost that facet of things. Now, if you talk about anything in the wrong place, one of the vets will shit on you for threadjacking... DSFers, starts some threads!.... don't be afraid. IF YOUR THREAD FAILS... so what? It will sink to the bottom. No big deal. No loss. If anybody has a problem with "too many threads cluttering up the forum" you can fuck off. Go to another forum and try a search for something like "Adventureland" ... you will get at least 10 pages of threads for that one movie. We can have a bit more random shit here. Oh, forgot to mention: It makes me sad to look down the threads and see me as the creator for so many of them.
 That tells me that either ppl are afraid to start threads for fear of getting bashed or maybe fear of it failing. I create so many thread and only maybe 20% of them "stick".... just sayin'

Sure, these might be a bit gay but that's kind of what makes this shit funny.

Megadouche actually does a pretty good job at it. He'll just make threads on a whim... some make sense, some don't. But it's fun to watch
I don't recall amy making too many threads and that's fine too.My point is that i don't want ppl to hold back. Don't force the random but if something pops into your head and you think it might work as a thread, go for it.
