Despite the fact that they're undenyably a detriment to the environment when let outside, I just love to watch cats hunt. They're smart, sneaky and move like liquid mercury. What wonderful animals.
That said, keep Fifi inside.

Assholes down the street have a cat that's always running over here to piss on my porch and in the bushes. Fucking ticks me off. They don't give a shit either and think it's funny.
It does this because I have two cats and they won't get their's fixed, nor keep the pest in their own house.
I like animals and all, but when they become a pest, well...
A DEEP one that is.
Oh, and our cats do get outside time. But only when we're with them and not for very long.

Wow didn't think this poll would wind up so popular. As i said before though, while yes it is amazing to watch them hunt and they love being outside i just can't bring mysel to ever let mine out no matter how much they beg.

All kidding aside, an uncle of mine once had this problem. He solved it by kidnapping their cat. He kept it in his basement, well fed and taken care of, and when the neighbors came door to door looking for the cat he denied any knowledge, but they were obviously very supicious of him because he had complained about the cat tearing his shit up and pissing all over numerous times before. He anonymously returned the cat after about a week, and the neighbors made a point of it to never let the thing near his house ever again. He was less about five pounds of cat food, but got rid of a pest for good.

I leave an upstairs window open during the warmer days, just for the cats to go in and out of. One of them is quite a hunter and leaves corpses of mice and birds on my doorstep almost daily.
