i would like to see hm back definitely, especially after that few months where there seemed to be some questionable early stoppages. or unless they can make a reffing/judging committee and have him on that also, there have been a few decisions in fight that have had me wondering if the judges know what they are watching or looking for during a fight

the interesting thing that i noticed about the Kimbo/Petruzelli fight was that when Kimbo got knocked down and rolled to his back, he was trying to block punches w/ his hands out to the side (the shape of a field goal posts). you'd think that a guy like him could take at least one punch and still be able to defend himself, even if it was a "power jab".

i don't follow mma, but i saw the replay of kimbo. it looked to me like he went down a little "too easy"...

Kimbo didnt throw the fight...he jsut hasnt faced anybody worth a damn. also, keep in mind he stands to make more money if he is undefeated the general public thinks he is a great fighter. now he lost to some nobody. they will rematch, but it wont be a great fight or moneymaker

tlock already made some good points, but no Kimbo didn't throw this fight. That's the problem with casual fans. They think being able to beat up a fat guy in the street and looking mean equals badassness. Every real MMA fan has known from the very beginning that Kimbo is a shitty fighter. It's not really his fault. He only has 4 pro fights and should be fighting in local shows for 500 a fight instead of 500k a fight. That is where his skill is at. Being able to beat up drunk guys doesn't equate to having skill. It's a total different ball game when you fight someone who is for real. Petruzelli proved that real MMA fighters are bad asses. Even ones with pink hair who are outweighed by 30 lbs and failed miserably in the UFC.

imagine how bad he would have done in the ufc, would kinda liked to watch a kimbo and lesnar fight each other in their first fights, talk about total opposites, a brawler vs a wrestler
