Our powers been out for the past few days. So not only did I wash the dishes used to make dinner for our house and both neighbor's houses too, I even used the gas grill to boil water to do the dishes.

What do you think my wife had the gall to say to me today?

Yep. "You never do the dishes, it's always me or the kids!!" ?!?!?!?!?!

I guess it's besides the point that one of the few chores my kids have to do IS THE FUCKING DISHES AFTER DINNER!!!! Just like it was in both my wife's family and mine when we were growing up.

sounds like my ex-roomie...it wasnt that we shared dishes or anything, just that he allowed all of his to take up one side of the sink so that finally the mold and mildew and other nasty shit made the entire apt smell. and even then, we had to pull an intervention-like scenario where we all had to make him physically clean it all up. fucker.

But for all we know,her bf is an abusive jerk,and maybe she came home one day and had simply had enough,and seeing the dirty dishes were the last straw.

I HATE washing dishes. Not sure why. The wife likes it, so I let her. She travels alot, though, and she always says, " If I see these same dishes on the counter when I get back, it's your ass!"

I fuckin hate doing dishes. I end up letting them pile up so bad that my wife has no choice but to wash them....that's how bad I hate it.

I hate doing dishes too but my girlfriend won't do them. I have let them pile up until she eventually does them and she does a terrible job. Every fork, spoon, plate, and bowl still has food stuck on them. I think she actually adds food to the dishes to make them more dirty. So I do them just so I have clean dishes.

don't care I'll do them. I use to do dishing when I was 16 for a job. Plus I know they are clean when I do them.

Dishes are one of the easiest fucking ways to help keep the woman happy. All women overly appreciate it when you help out around the house. You just can't always be 100% on top of housekeeping because then she'll begin to expect it and rather than her being happy when you help out, she'll just get upset when you don't.
