Red Headed Women (Songs)
Got a red-headed wife and I'm looking to put together a CD of songs for her about or mentioning red-heads, and I figure this forum has more music-minded people in one place than just about anywhere else. If you've got a suggestion, fire away. Links are great, but just a title and artist are fine. I'm happy to do the work of tracking them down myself. I've come up with the following:
Red Headed Woman - Bruce Springsteen Icky Thump - White Stripes ("Redhead se?orita, looking dead, came and said "Need a bed?") Fell In Love With A Girl - White Stripes ("Red hair with a curl") Tangled Up In BLue - Bob Dylan ("Wondering if she'd changed at all, if her hair was still red") I Love L.A. - Randy Newman ("Big nasty redhead by my side") Fill Her Up - Sting ("Up in the front seat a pretty red head") And of course 1952 Vincent Black Lightning - Richard Thompson ("Red hair and black leather, my favorite color scheme") Suggestions?
