Yo

About to get a new phone, and just wanted to see if anyone had any ideas....

I'm deciding between the Blackberry Curve 8310 and the Nokia e71x

It's thru ATT, and I want to get one of the nicer ones that has a QWERTTY to send texts easier.

-Not gonna have a data plan for now (probly will later, but for now, ill just be using it for calling/texting/etc)

-I've already done a bunch of research on both, but I wanted to see if anyone had any personal experience

-The blackberry curve 8310 is 49.99 and the nokia e71x is 99.99

If you got any sorta advice or ideas, let me know.

Ive got the Curve 8330 and I freaking LOVE it! I will never go back to a normal cell phone if I dont have to after having this one. Ive got every program imaginable on it that I need including Navagation.

Default Wifi
One big difference is that the Nokia has wifi. So if you are in a hotspot you will get full internet. I was looking at the nokia myself. The samsung jack is also $99 thru at&t and has roughly the same features including wifi.

I just got the 8330 from Alltel and I love it.

I wanted Wifi but to get a Blackberry with wifi I would have had to switch to AT&T.

You're gonna get the same internet, the Blackberry just can't display everything, like Youtube for example.

Not true I have a program called Vision for Youtube and it works excellent. Very nice quality.

Is the "jack" the Samsung Blackjack that looks a lot like the Motorola Q? I had the Q and hated everything about it. Given it's not a Blackjack and it was through Verizon but i had that phone replaced no less than 5 times in a year until they just let me get a new one.

Turns out the Samsung Glyde isn't much better:

its a touch screen POS, I've had it replaced 3 times in 4 months cause the touch screen goes out. one more time and they'll give me a new one
