Yes probably one of the best japanese movies ive ever seen. If you like asian movies check out oldboy, the audition, the five venoms which is an awesome old kungfu movie.

Dude Oldboy is the shit. I recomed "High Tension" ot asia but still fuckig good.

Battle Royale and Oldboy r great movies! How about Infernal Affairs and Sympathy for Lady Vengeance, good ones too!
A couple of people have recomended High Tension.. adding to the list

In the theater-I saw The Strangers a couple days ago...eh. It probably would have been better if the entire theater wasn't laughing to prevent getting so scared they pissed themselves.

At home- Transformers was on the other night and watched that. Megan Fox is worth the product placement for 2 hours!

I feel your pain mrdavis, I just saw The Strangers last night. I even attempted to hit up the final showing of the night hoping there wouldn't be as many people, but lo and behold five "just turned teen" girls came in during the previews, then sat directly in front of me. What a nightmare. They spent the first 10 minutes of the movie whispering incessantly, meanwhile two of them kept handing a cell phone back and forth to text someone. When the man with a sack on his head makes his first appearance in the shadow of the kitchen, these girls literally lost all control of their mouths. Just as I was about to lose my cool and tell them all to shut the fuck up or I was sending them home to mommie, an employee of the theater came in and asked them to be quiet after multiple complaints.

The rest of the movie was terrific. Go see The Strangers... without a group of young teenage girls in the theater.

High Tension is a really great flick. My ex-girlfriend had to get up and walk out of the theater because it was too gory. I stayed and finished watching it with her friend and she had to come pick my ass back up two hours later. It was awesome.
