Computer issue that hopefully someone can help me with
My fucking Logitech Wireless mouse is lagging big time. When I move it across the screen it will stop and go at it's own pace, and clicking things will sometimes not work. It's like it shorts out for a split second every 5 seconds or so.
This, ironically, all started when it indicated that the batteries were low, back when the mouse worked fine, so I changed them and put new batteries in, and then wham, the mouse lags.
Has anyone had this problem before or know how to fix it, all the crap I've googled leads me to dead ends or other problems not related to my own. It's fucking pissing me off, I just tried clicking on a link to another page and it wouldn't do anything so I clicked my bookmark toolbar and it added the link I clicked to the bookmarks because the button apparently got fucking stuck. This is god damn frustrating. Anyone know what could be causing it?

oh..logitech is the worst with changing batteries.
had this mouse and keyboard set, when u changed batteries the keyboard wouldn't work anymore.
i mean all the planets had to be aligned and u had to press connect and take batteries out a gazillion times.
can only advice the same. remove batteries, reconnect.
as precaution next time they run out try switching computer off then changing batteries.
I use a Logitech wireless mouse. I love it. I've changed the batteries, no problems. Sorry, can't help. I just don't think it's a Logitech-wide problem.
I fiddled with the connection in the back of the computer and the mouse seems to be working now. But I've had problems with my keyboard in the past as well with similar lag issues.

My old one would do that. Sometimes if I didn't have the receiver in EXACTLY the right spot they wouldn't work. Move it 1/2inch to one side and they'd start working again. But this new one I've got seems to be working way better.
What model do you have?
My new one is the MX3200. My old one was some odd model that they only made for a short time and then ditched it.

I don't even know. All I know is I wanted a wireless keyboard and mouse and this was the best looking one at the most reasonable price. After a quick google search it's the Logitech Cordless Desktop S510 Keyboard and Mouse

I love it when they work, especially the keyboard. It's very sleek and the keys are very easy to type on, which may or may not be a key feature to some people but I do a lot of writing, so...
But they've lagged a lot over the tenure of my ownership of it and it makes me angry.

Have you tried getting updated drivers off of Logitech's website? I'm thinking since you just found out what model it is, you are probably using the drivers off the disc it came with and those are almost always out of date. I don't even bother with the disc for any hardware I buy. First thing I do it go to the manufacturers website and get the latest.
A "trick" i found works well with the battery changing issue with my wireless logitech mouse was to change one battery at a time. You know, pull one out and replace it with the new one, then replace the second one. It works everytime, where as before i would have to re-connect the damn thing.
