dunno how you do it. I've always been a sleep in till noon kinda guy. Getting up at 7 for an 8 oclock shift has always been hard for me, but getting up at 4:45 and leaving by 5:15 could spell disaster. Pray I don't sleep drive to the coffee shop and crash thru the front door.

Ah, I remember sleeping til noon and even better til 5 pm most days back when I could afford not to work. It was a good few years.

Then I had to work and started going in at 6 instead of 8:30 because my ex-boss said that was why the expeditor could smoke cigs during the day and not me. He didn't expect me to actually do that as that guy lived in town and I was 45 minutes away.

Then after the expeditor left, I became the first in doing it and that was actually my entire alone time for the day. So I savored it.

Now at my newer job that starts at 8 (warehouse & lab at 7) I do it for a parking space and to force one of the lab girls to park on the left side of the outside lab door and not in the office parking spaces.

All of which could have been prevented had the former lab guy now manager just ask the girl to park there for me (I had already asked her which worked for one day only). When I complained how she was fucking up the parking he said a "yeah but what can you do" type of answer.

Next morning I was there at 6. Problem solved and I'm the office parking hero. Not that they even give a shit. lol
