Staffed entirely by young, fashionable women, Girls Chintai creates a “date-like atmosphere” while taking you on visits to potential homes, so you can pretend you have a hot girlfriend and imagine what it would be like to spend time in your new apartment with a young lady. Visiting a series of apartment accompanied by an agent is a common part of the chore involved with looking for a new home. Girls Chintai is simply making that process more fun — and at no extra cost.  The service, which handles apartments in Tokyo as well as neighboring Kanagawa, Saitama, and Chiba, specifies who the women are (including where they are from, their hobbies and interests, their social media links, etc.), so you can select the one you’d like to go on your date with. The service, which launched on September 20, welcomes female patrons too, though we suspect women are more likely to choose the service because male estate agents have a reputation for being dishonest. We hope the young women working for Girls Chintai feel safe accompanying their male clients on these dates around Tokyo looking for apartments.
