Ok...I just finished watching hid acceptance speech for the Democratic nominee and all I can say is...Holy shit....

He called McCain and the Republicans out on all their bullshit and failed policies, and he created/crafted a great new vision for America...

If we look at the past 8 years under Der Fuhrer Bush, we see a country in ruins...Gas prices are out of control, real estate prices are sinking faster than barnanjeto's dignity, in short, this country is worse of than it was 8 years ago...

Being a teacher, Bush's No Child Left Behind has failed the education system, I firmly believe Obama will fix that...

Obama effectively pointed out issues Republican have, and pointed to how we can fix the problems that plague our country, while staying true to what made this country great...

When talking politics, there is always a fine line between friendly debate, and heated arguments. Let me just day, BlackCrypt, and anyone else who responds, that I do not want this to affect any friendly relationship we may have, or may have in the future. I think that this is just a group of educated adults putting forth opinions on one of the most important decisions we will have to make.

That being said...

What ties does Barack Obama have to a terrorist? Are they any stronger than Bush's? Was Obama's father a business partner with bin Laden's father like George Bush's father? How about when Bush spent the day, in 2000, with Sami Al-Arain who was under investigation by the FBI for his ties to an Islamic terrorist group? Or, how about Bush having lunch with bin Laden's brother the morning of 9/11?

As far as the "crazy preacher" goes, the preacher, Rev. Jeremiah A. Wright Jr., spoke out because Obama attended his church for a time. Obama never had any personal connection to Rev. Wright, and even went so far as to denounce him on public airwaves.

As far as voting for someone who apparently "can't speak worth a shit unless it has been written for him." when was the last time anyone in politics said anything without it being written and rehearsed beforehand? His is not the first to do it, and will not be the last. Your boy Bush can hardly get out a sentence on his own.

I don't know where you live if you think that this country is better off, but it is not. I see friends of mine being fired from teaching positions because their performance is based on the test results of a 12 year old. That is because of Bush. I see people losing business because of Bushs' economic plan. I see young men coming home from the "War in Iraq" traumatized and severely injured for a war that does not need to be fought.

Is there any hope in McCain? No. He will continue to bury his head in the sand over issues that are plaguing this country. I love guns, and I am the first to say that people should own them, but let's get them off the street. Let's fix the prisons, and the gangs, and the "war on drugs." McCain will not do that.

Ties to a terrorist... William Ayers, while in the Weather Underground bombed the Pentagon, The White House, and a few others. He said on 9/11 “I don’t regret setting bombs.” Obama has done speeches with him since. And don't dare say that Barry did not know about Ayers past.


Obama spent 20 years in the church of Rev. Jeremiah A. Wright. He has said he could not disown Wright like he could not disown an Uncle.

And, your beef about "No Child Left Behind"??? Further proof that the Government should not control our lives. They have failed in Education, in Social Security, and failed in Welfare.

Barack wants to have the USA docks ran like those at China. Guess who runs those.... Dubai Ports Authority.

What are you saying about No Child Left Behind? Your boy Bush started it, and it had been a nightmare for educators like me.

You say that Obama has done speeches with him? He does not set those up. What is worse, giving a speech with Ayers in attendance, or being personal friends with the binLaden family?
