Granted, lyrics are WAY secondary to me in terms of appreciating songs, and I don't understand vague matephors very well either. I also hate poetry. That being said, these lyrics either go right over my head, or they are just plain stupid. Here are the first two verses and chorus from The Human League's - "Crow and a Baby". (Great song, though!)
