No, I hated the way he wrote but quite a few people were telling me it's the greatest novel ever so I kept at it. Towards the end it just seemed to drag on and on. Thanks, won't waste my time on the others.

I finished this book right before the weekend, and it was interesting when things were happening. But the ending actually kind of sucked.

I just finished ghost story and really enjoyed it. I have been trying to find other books like the dresden files but nothing has really stood up in the genre.

The style is Encyclopedia with chapters devoted to different disciplines. The art/Music/Film section kept me busy for a while. Overall a good reference work written with a bit of humor so it's not as dry as sawdust.

I'm embarrassed to say this is the first Dean Koontz I've ever read. It's definitely better in the second half, I had to force myself through the first part as Koontz tends to ramble on about things insignificant to the storyline.



I'm in the third chapter now and this is my gf's recommendation. I was an Aerosmith fan until they started just putting out ballads so I said "Why not?". This man is deeply eccentric and hard to follow. Although some parts so far are entertaining I'm struggling through it. Steven Tyler definitely proves that cocaine is a helluva drug.

I love this book. It makes me look at the old school video clerks in a new light. Just random stories from a female point of view of what she had to deal with. She's not anti-porn either.
