Wouldnt any contest involve people having some form of skill though? Like the uploading thing is much easier for those who work somewhere with crazy fast connections etc. Or making a video or singing a song would require a skill too.

It was just an idea but there could be a variety of things people could creatively make for the site. Crossing a few different areas so there is more range for skill.

I think we'll have at least 3 contests a month so we could do various things even if one was a photoshop type contest.

The only thing i am ruling out at this point is "Most posts" contest...it would just cause people to post too much crap.

keep the ideas comin' i like what i have heard so far!

1. a while back, someone started a "guess what this pic really is" type thread. i thought that was cool.

2. or maybe a series of pics and we have to guess where each was taken.

3. maybe "new lyrics for an old song." record an mp3 and post it.

4. best new invention. doesn't require plans or anything. just an explanation of what it does.

1) brnswck of the week

2) also "get" of the week by a noob/non avatared member.

I have seen some music posts lately of stuff way before the release date that noobs have gotten (kinda impressive?)

3) greatest old movie/show post but it has to be original, not jacked from some movie blog or something.

I was thinking the same thing... I think motortrend (the mag) has a section where people send a pic with a mag from different parts of the world... i think that's pretty cool...
It would be pretty funny to watch the news and when they go to Bob live from downtown.. you see someone passing by with a DSF sign...

Trespass and I actually had a list compiled in the past that we thought about posting. Kind of a treasure hunt of sorts but DSF themed. But we never posted it. Kind of makes no sense now since alot of the people we included arent on here any longer and its no longer as hilarious as it was back then.
