PDX is only a couple of hours from my girl's house. And I'd bet I could talk her into going. Is Chris Leben as, um, volatile as he was. I love watching him fight when he has his shit together. When he's a train wreck, not so much.

makes sense for the ufc. Leben is from Oregon and his strength is stand up. Rosholt was tapped in a minute in his UFC debut. Should be a good fight...hopefully Leben can rebound with a highlight reel knockout

That surprised me. I didn't think he was going to beat Jim Miller but I didn't think he would get bulldozed either. I've seen a few of his other fights and he was the one destroying people. But, I guess that's the difference in talent level from a UFC fighter and the average dude in smaller shows. I'm sure you have to destroy everyone in the small shows to get one shot in the UFC.

He's a phenomenal wrestler and his striking is developing, but he's completely lost on his back (as are most wrestlers that transition into MMA). He would have been well served with a couple more fights in the WEC, but that wasn't in Zuffa's plans

They didn't really have a choice. They could have cut him when the got rid of MW in the WEC or they could bring him to the UFC.

It was Dan Miller, but I agree with what you are saying. Miller is a damn good fighter though.
