Short unemployment period this time around. I start a new job on Monday. Pay is OK, not great, not bad. It's a contract, hopefully extended or hired. But it pays WAY more than UE.

BTW: Destiny gets boring really quick, but Borderlands The Pre-Sequel is great!

HA, update.

So I accepted that job and then yesterday another company I had interviewed for but thought had found someone else, they offered me a direct-hire position. Great benefits, credit for my time spent as a teacher to pay and paid vacation days, oh and really good pay. It's a public sector job so I can see retiring in it.

For the first time in my life, I bailed on a job. I hadn't actually started the other one, but I still felt bad for a few hours. The recruiter at the contract company was very nice when I told him I was bailing on a short three day notice.

So, I now start another new job next week.

Woohoo!

PS. Destiny is still boring.
