I personally thought the debate was one of the worst run debates I'd ever seen. Lerher had no control, Tim Russert will be missed. From what I saw, there was no clear winner. : The main loser:

wanna learn some shit that you didnt already know, then let ralph nader participate in the debates. even if he has no chance in winning the election, let him speak.
fuck the corporate sponsers who wont let him in. look into it a little bit and see how they changed some things around (percentage of the pop vote from 10% to 15% in 04)so he cant use his right to free speech.

It did strike me as really bizzare that jim leher had to keep reminding them to speak to eachother. In the beginning it seemed like they were just anticipating the questions and giving their prepared statements. It seems like they didn't loosen up until near the end of the debate. On a side note, my friends and I created a drinking game for everytime Obama said "That's just not true John." mccain is a slimy bastard.

Yes the american public might get an education if the bothered to tune in, but since on average less than 60% of the population votes in any given presidential election, you really think they care to listen to someone they have no intentions on voting for. It may be the corporate sponsor's that won't let him in, but it's the american public tell them they really don't care.
