For those of you who cannot decide, one of the programs in the Apps thread, Advanced System Optimizer, has a Wallpaper Changer option as well as many useful other options.

Is there an app that will improve the way XP displays the picture on the desktop?
Let me explain:
I hate that if I want to display a square picture on my widescreen, my only options are to stretch it to fill the screen, and thus fuck up the aspect and make it look all distorted, center which then leaves blank areas, tile it, which just flat out sucks, or to open it up in GIMP or Photoshop, resize the photo, save, and then tell XP to center it.

I want something that will in bed the option in display properties to "stretch but keep aspect". Is that so much to ask?

Is that Jennifer Love Hewitt? That wallpaper is sexy as fuck! I like the WickedWeasel one too!

That question I cannot answer. I haven't played with things well enough for that. I am lazywhen it comes to wallpaper. I find ONE I like that is the size of my screen res. and use it til I hate it. Then go on to the next one. I tend to only look for ones that fit. But then again, I am not dealing with widescreen either. I make BC find my wallpaper for the laptop to avoid the issue! Evil of me?? Perhaps.
