I just re-watched the original Nightmare on Elm Street on Netflix streaming last week. It didn't scare me nearly as bad as when I first watched it, but I found myself again pulling for Freddy. He was so slimy and creepy but hilarious, and the archetypes were so obvious and overdone (at least in the first one). And besides, John Saxon from Enter the Dragon was the girl's dad, that was kick-ass! I just think that if Hayley is going to play Freddy they have to make him play a role in the remake of the V miniseries too!
