Unfortunately I grew up in Maine, and not a lot of good bands come up there. Sooooo, my first concert was Bush in '96 with the fucking Goo Goo Dolls. Ugh, I know.

I am jealous of you Wadd1!
My first concert by myself was LL Cool J in 1985.
Before that, my mother dragged me and my sisters off to see Michael Jackson and/or The Jackson 5 every time they came to town. No regrets because they put on a good show and I always had a good time.
My Uncle Sammy, the black sheep of the family, took me to see Marvin Gaye, the Doobie Brothers and Teddy Pendergrass. It's funny because in addition to some dam good music, I remember ladies underwear all over the place ... and that funny smell from those home made cigarettes.

My first was the Beatles at Maple Leaf Gardens, Toronto in 1966. It was the last time they played there. I was 12. The ticket was $5.00.
