Hey, Lucas, I think you are doing a great job and DSF is a freaking awesome place to visit. My first post was a music request (sorry, I was new and didn't understand the "rules" fully (and you gave me the GAS FACE). Since then I've made progress and understand the importance of contributing to the forum, not to mention, interacting with everybody is a blast! I would like to get an avy someday, but I agree...there's just something special about earning one. Maybe you could incorporate an idea to let members with avys nominate someone for an avy and then post a poll or private vote. Those members who already have avatars have been around and know how things are run. They know who contributes and how well they contribute. They would have a good idea who might be "worthy" for the next avy. Or you could just take nominations, and then you could decide. Regardless, I think an avatar should be earned.

Still being junior status I like to look forward to the day that I can be graced with an avatar. It won't be the end of the world if I never get one because I can still participate in the forum.
I post in spurts and want to upload a ton more stuff so hopefully one day it will happen. We know you have a lot to do Lucas, keep up the good work and thank you for everything that you do.
