The Eagles have traded rookie WR Brandon Gibson and a fifth-round pick to the Rams for LB Will Witherspoon. Witherspoon is expected to start immediately for the Eagles, possibly in the middle of the defense. He left the team's Week 6 game against the Jaguars with a hip/back injury but it's been deemed just a bruise.

Why no Trotter?

oh man....the trotter experience hasn't been faring well, he looked like a dinosaur on sunday. I'm hoping he just needs to get into the flow of the game....but teams are just going to exploit him every time he's on the field.

I thought the game sucked, actually, and they need to just fucking stop with the wildcat bullshit. It was nice to see Will Witherspoon step in though.
