some turtles are called Cooters. I used to keep birds but they are too messy and require way too much attention. My favorite pet was my umbrella cockatoo though.

Cooter was pretty independent and clean. He didn't like me much he wanted his food and water and to screech when heheard music or birds outside, but if I shushed him he was quiet. He was the most beautiful parakeet I'd ever seen like flourescent

You should get another one. Try a Cockatiel. They live like 40 years and learn how to talk and do tricks. They stay small too. Make sure you get a young one. Hand tame even better but more expensive. Parrots are really messy. They just throw their food all over the house and they shit constantly. My bird was shit tamed. I would just hold him over paper and go whoops and he would shit. And if he had to go he would just run over to the little perch I set up for him to shit. He's a cool bird. My ex girlfriend has him now. It was her bird in the first place and I inherited it. I gave it back to her though because it was ruining my life. It's like having a 2 year old kid to take care of.

where bouts in texas are ya? im wondering if my cousins in Austin will get to see the snow. they come up here in summer and think there is snow. but they usually come up at xmas time
