I've been checking my bank accounts frequently because I've been worried about a few bills. So anyway, one account had about $150-200 left in it and a check for $350 was deposited into it. So I expected to have at least $500 but when I checked, it was twice that. Just over $1k
I hope it's not a mistake because I payed my bills with most of it ( thank God! ) but it's still bugging me. WTF?!

The dad is going to come out now...
Why would you spend money from your account that you don't know where it came from? Did you read your contract with your bank? I'd be surprised if that situation wasn't detailed.
Never spend more money from your accounts than what you know you've put in.
What's likely to happen is the bank figures out their mistake and retroactively debits it. That retroactive debit will then NSF any transactions that exceeded your real balance.
Good luck, but I think you are screwed.
Oh, and every bank has 30 days to "correct" deposits made in mistake or ones that should have NSF'd at the time.
It looks like I wasn't charged for something. On 5/16, I put in an extra $600 to pay a plane ticket for a friend. My friend got arrested and missed his flight so he had to pay again. So after the first $600, I got a charge of almost $20 from Travelocity, then the next day I put in $600 more and was charged about $680.
So it looks like my friend payed me $1,200 for tickets that ended up costing $700.
There's the extra $500
The confusing thing and why I was so shocked, is that my balance suddenly changed even though I've been keeping track of it. I'm still but I hope that settles it for now
Although I confirmed the payments with the airline, the charges are different
