1. my wife keeps pausing a Duran Duran concert on TV and calling me in there to watch it with her. its a beating.
2. anyone a mechanic? the gauges on the dash in my wifes car started going crazy today. airbag light comes on, brake light comes on, speedometer and rpm gauges keep dropping to zero, etc.
R.I.P Rodger Swan gone to soon son, life's a bitch and then we die, but you were to nice to be real, and even though you were more real than anyone i've ever seen, it still would creep me out how nice and cool you were, and that's a good thing, usually people are sad pathetic and predictable, but you son, you were special, and now this life fucking fucks up another diamond and leaves the coals behind, as always, it's a constant reminder of how shitty things are and will continue, and if anyone remotely special comes along, they're cluster fucked. why am i not surprised.

Might be something in the computer. Try unhooking the battery for about 15 minutes then hooking it back up. If it's not that, the worst thing that could happen is you have to redo the presets on the radio.

I had a similar problem in one of my work trucks, and as I understood it, it was a ground short in/off of the dash. Simple fix, and the Auto Electric place down the street diagnosed it as I stood there with only a voltmeter in seconds and fixed it in minutes to the tune of $40.

I don't really know anything about that stuff. Could be a loose power wire leading to the instrument cluster but it does sound more like a computer problem.

Yeah you can try that, might work. Depending on how old the car is, the computer controls just about everything. I think most newer ones even control how fast you actually accelerate... and you thought the gas pedal did that!
Find some forums for the car make and search for other people having that problem.
