Well, good luck to you MM... seems like it's happening to a number of people around me; My brother got canned last week after 9 years of blood, sweat and tears and on February 1st I find out if I've been "optimized"....it's either my territory is important or I get a severance package. I'm scared shitless because of the state of the economy and I haven't been job hunting in 6 years and have no idea how to start.

I just spent like 30minutes pissed off cause TurboTax seems to have no record of me ever filling a tax return with them before even tho I know I have the last 2 years at least............. Then a quick Google search jogged my memory. I used H&R Block before. I'm retarded.

i use TaxAct every year, and just open last years return, make any changes, and e-file. we get our refund deposited next week.

H&R Block is pretty painless too. I started it, got my W-2 info entered, now I just have to wait for my bank to send me the 1099 so I can enter interest. I think it's not available until Jan 30th.

Good to see you back Ms Kitty. Anytime I think I'm about to be fired, I start searching real hard to find something else, I hate not to have a safety net. Bit harder in these times, so be careful.

I always download TurboTax and use it, I like that it can pull my W2 info from my employer sometimes before I even get the W2 in the mail. I like to try and get it done and e-file before the first week of February is over, the money comes back quicker that way. This year NC is going to keep their refund to pay the $1000 they say I owe from 2005 (fuckers), but I'm hoping the Federal is enough that I can have some to build a new desktop, my old Dell 8400 is running up to 100% CPU use and then locking up tighter than a first-time prisoner's asshole when they see Carlos Spicy Weiner coming at them anytime I try to run AnyDVD or even DVDShrink.

Well, I hate to post almost back-to-back, but for those of you with a morbid fascination or that pretend to give a fuck to satiate said morbid fascination, I just got a call from my doctor's office who informed me that they found "sludge" in my gall bladder during the ultrasound and that I'm being referred to a surgeon to take the fucker out. Here's my problem with it, why the fuck did I need a gall bladder in the first place, I've never pissed gall once in my life!
