Frank Mir is going to be violated in a way that he is completely unfamiliar with. For one, Big Nog's jiu jitsu is the best jiu jitsu for MMA. Second, while Mir is a legit BJJ BB, he isn't a great striker and Minotauro has excellent boxing.

On another note, I haven't read the entire thread, but to call the Griffin v. Rampage fight a hoax and claim it was fixed is sheer lunacy. Personally, I was there and the fight was nothing short of amazing. Both fighters gave it their all and the better fighter prevailed on that night. It's like Renzo Gracie said, "the harder I train, the luckier I get." Well, anyone who knows about MMA knows that Forrest Griffin trains harder than anyone out there. If you don't believe, just check out Jacare's interview before his fight in Dream against Mayhem.

yay, that first sentence made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. and i want to argue the claim of nog having the best jiu jitsu in mma but i just cant. while guys like jacare, roger gracie, arona and drysdale would all smoke him in a bjj match i dont think anyone has adapted his jiu jitsu better then nog. the biggest advantage he has is that his head is made of concrete and is able to absorb punishment in order to sink in a sub, and that is one thing many of the pure bjj fighters dont have, or at least havent shown.

but if jacare shows even half the chin of nog he'll easily have the best bjj in all of mma. his fight against mayhem shows he is no joke and will be a serious contender in no time. i wish we could have seen more of his standup because we allready know his bjj is as good as it can get. he's obviously not yet ready for a anderson silva fight just yet but given some time i'm sure he would have a better chance than most to win that fight

i'll never get an avater . the only thing i have to offer doesnt seem to be very popular so i'll keep on with my mir hate and hope that one day i'll be the guy wth the most posts w/o an av so i can get some kind of recognition around these parts

If you kept sharing your stuff and have the time/space to do it, I wouldn't be surprised if more people started DLing. Maybe throw them in the Park Bench forum under TV shows? They do end up being very pretty posts We here on this Thread sure appreciate the work you put in. I'd DL them, but I'm still too cheap to pay for a real account on RS.
