the whole thimerosal/autism connection is interesting and quite worthy of googling further. I've read a ton about it and it's easy to get lost in the sea of information.

I have kids - and we're currently fighting the vaccine system. I highly recommend for parents to ask to SEE the insert on the shot BEFORE it's administered - oftentimes they don't even know that thimerosal is in there.....or it's an old shot that they want to get rid of.

About a month ago we took my youngest to get a DPaT shot (split up - we don't give the young'uns more than one shot at a time).....they said it was mercury free.....and sure enough, checked the insert and it had it.

Frankly, I just want my kids to get the Chicken Pox naturally....and be permanently immunized - not pumped full of shit that wears off.

Either way man - best wishes to your growing family.....I have three myself, it's wild and insane at times...but also the best thing in the world too.

When we were expecting our first, we didn't know the sex and didn't want to know. We were throwing around names left and right. Alot of Beatles references (all time fav band) and then it moved to music oriented names. She said "Lyric" one day and I was like damn, high-five Babe. That would be an awesome name for our boy. She was thinking it would be an awesome name for a girl. Agreed. So, we decided either way our first would be named Lyric.

Congrats on the third. As BC said, we stopped at one. Two kids to keep up with is more than enough for me. And yes I mean MiniBC and BC.

It is hard enough getting the system to cooperate, you shouldn't need to convince family to do so as well. To me, family that gives you additional problems because of health problems are toxic. I finally needed to cut ties with the toxic members of my family. But, that's just what worked for me. Doing so has made a huge difference. It's not an option for most people though.

I just hope things become less of a struggle. And I am sure you'll have every bit as close a relationship this time around. It is funny how very different kids are when raised by the same parent.
