[nerd moment] I have a Pre and I had a Hero, completely different leagues. Android is clunky and unrefined, even when you throw in HTC Sense UI (What's on the Hero)The WebOS dev community is pretty on top of it. They hacked the VZW mobile hotspot and gave it to us sprint folks without the $40+ big red wants to rape you for. The Pre now and the Pre in June of last year when it launched are two different beasts. Gameloft (Biggest iphone game developer) is busy porting all of there games to the Pre and even the best of the best Android phones can't play them. Plus take into account that Android phones have tons of different form factors and guts inside and you just can't get parity. There's no guarantee that the app you downloaded will even work on your particular handset, which for me would be a huge issue. With a new update slated for this month from Palm with video recording/editing and full flash hitting WebOS first and not Android the choice for me was clear... But to each there own of course. [/nerd moment]
That being said when the HTC Supersonic hits Sprint with 4G I'll probably grab it even though it is a Skynet...er...I mean... Google phone.
