So do I! And I think I am actually going to get to. The wife has agreed that we should go to the cinema and she wanted to see Shutter Island, but it's not out till Feb so probably going to see it! Will be first time out together without the baby....

shutter island looks pretty awesome too. im reading "the road" again right now, so im dying to finally see the film. hopefully a watchable version gets released today. lol, at first time without the baby....youll last about 30 minutes before you start missing the little fella

Dude, I miss him when I'm at work! Yeah I'm looking forward to Shutter Island. Glad it looks good cause it is compulsary in my wifes eyes as it has Dicaprio in it .....

its scorsese, so if nothing else itll be a well made film. yeah, i know what you mean about missing the kid at work......luckily i became a stay at home dad when my first was almost 2 yrs old. now they are older, and i usually hope they find something to do, or somewhere to go, rather than hang out with me.

I love my kids. being a stay at home dad is great, but the financial situation worries me with me not working.

I worked part time when my daughter was growing up so I could be there to pick her up from school. It was great and my kid turned out really well. She is a much better person than me. The only problem is the mother liked her job working in a bar and she stayed out all night. Fortunately she was never around to do too much psychological damage to my daughter. The problem was that since she earned most of the money, I was treated like one of the bar backs at her job. Until the day she threw me oput because I didn't earn enough money. The kicker was the kid came to live with me and then I had to hold down a full time job while driving the kid to school, paying babysitters etc. The moral of the story is, if you don't have a really good woman behind you, it could run into problems.
