Man, how many of his stars has Mel Brooks outlived now? Besides Gene Wilder, we've lost Cleavon Little, Anne Bancroft, Peter Boyle, John Candy, Joan Rivers, Zero Mostel, Don Adams, Harvey Korman, Slim Pickens, Madeline Kahn, Alex Karras, Marty Feldman...

Erik Bauersfeld
By: Benjamin Hart
We are very saddened to report that Erik Bauersfeld, who provided the voices of Bib Fortuna and Ackbar in two installments of the Star Wars saga, has passed away at the age of 93.
Bauersfeld had an extensive background in radio dramas as he served as the director of drama and literature department at the San Francisco based KPFA radio station. He eventually ended up at Lucasfilm working on a radio project when he got the chance to try out for roles in the Original Star Wars trilogy of films that were in production at the time.
Bauersfeld originally auditioned for Yoda, a role which ultimately went to Frank Oz. Later he would make his uncredited Star Wars debut in Return Of The Jedi, uttering one of the most iconic lines of Star Wars dialogue ever, "It's a trap", as Admiral Ackbar(The character was puppeteered on screen by Tim Rose). He also performed the huttese dialogue said by Jabba the Hutt's majordomo Bib Fortuna(who was portrayed on screen by Michael Carter). Bauersfeld would later return to voice Ackbar in the video games Star Wars: X-Wing (1993) and Star Wars Battlefront: Elite Squadron (2009). And, most recently, he once again voiced Ackbar when the character returned to the big screen last year in in Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens.
He also had small voice roles in A.I. Artificial Intelligence(2001) and Crimson Peak(2015).

Alexis Arquette/Robert Arquette
Transgender actress, musician, and cabaret performer Alexis Arquette — sister to actors Rosanna, Patricia, David, and Richmond Arquette — has passed away at age 47. Richmond confirmed the news via his personal Facebook page Sunday morning.
“Our brother Robert, who became our brother Alexis, who became our sister Alexis, passed this morning September 11, at 12:23am,” Richmond posted. “He was surrounded by all of his brothers and sisters, one of his nieces and several other loves ones. We were playing music for him and he passed during David Bowie’s ‘Starman.’ As per his wishes, we cheered at the moment that he transitioned to another dimension.”
Alexis Arquette was born Robert Arquette in Los Angeles on July 28, 1969, and transitioned to female in 2006. (Her transition was the subject of the film Alexis Arquette: She’s My Brother, which debuted at the 2007 Tribeca Film Festival.) Arquette’s first professional acting job, at age 12, was playing the boy on the carnival ride in the Tubes’ “She’s a Beauty” music video, a major MTV hit in 1983.

Side note there are some hateful mother fuckers commenting on Yahoo page about this person. It is amazing how someone who is so religious can say such hateful things about a person. RIP
After our final tests, this new destructive force will be available to those who can pay... and they will!

Arnold Palmer
Arnold Palmer, a seven-time major winner who brought golf to the masses and became the most beloved figure in the game, died Sunday, a source close to the family confirmed to Golfweek. He was 87.
In a career that spanned more than six decades, he won 62 PGA Tour titles between 1955 and 1973, placing him fifth on the Tour’s all-time victory list, and collected seven majors in a seven-year explosion between the 1958 and 1964 Masters.
"I used to hear cheers go up from the crowd around Palmer," Lee Trevino said. "And I never knew whether he’d made a birdie or just hitched up his pants."
"Palmer on a golf course was Jack Dempsey with his man on the ropes, Henry Aaron with a three-and-two fastball, Rod Laver at set point, Joe Montana with a minute to play, A.J. Foyt with a lap to go and a car to catch," wrote Los Angeles Times columnist Jim Murray.
