Yeah, i saw the story yesterday and was very dissapointed that she didn't show for her hearings in a PVC mini-dress with thigh high fishnet stockings along with the thigh high leather boots

A Montgomery County couple has been arrested on child endangerment charges for failing to register their children with the school district as they were home-schooled, the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office said Monday.

Richard Cressy, 47, and Margie Cressy, 41, both of the town of Glen, never registered their four children or their home-schooling curriculum with the local school district, said the Sheriff's Office.

The Superintendent of the Fonda-Fultonville Central School District confirmed the four children, ranging in age from 8 to 14, had not been registered with the school district for the last seven years.

The Cressys were issued appearance tickets to appear in the Town of Glen Court at a later date. The case has been turned over to the Montgomery County District Attorney and the Child Protective Unit.

Truancy has always been against the law here; with or without a parent consent.
An educated populous is the best way to fight oppression and ignorance.
A child's future, and thus our society, shouldn't be compromised by the parents' ignorance and neglect.

Fuck that man. Who the fuck is the govt. to tell anyone how their children are educated. Fucking fascists, I don't give a fuck what anyone says but to set standards like this is everything I fight against.

If I had my way, everyone would actually need to prove they understood our basic systems of government before they were able to vote on issues affecting it. (and that eliminates about 80% of our populace)

And maybe if people like GW & Palin would have actually received some of that education we wouldn't be in such a mess.

If we would have spent all the war monies over the last few years on educating the people, particularly the women, of places like Afghanistan, we would've done more to stamp out fundamentalist radicalism.
(hmmm... radical fundamentalists = tea bagging protesters?!?)

hahah Please explain how you would have done that? It's not we could have just gone and built schools. They were ruled by there religious leaders.
