Jefferson Hospital sent this e-mail out to all their employees (it's a local hospital here in center city Philadelphia):

Subject: Real Event: Code D Heightened Readiness

THIS IS NOT A DRILL

The Hospital is initiating Code D Heightened Readiness beginning Monday, Oct. 27 at 4:30pm due to potential activity related to the Phillies playoffs for the World Series.

Fuck...some major moves so far:

Looks like Peavy is gonna munch on the Fish while he is with the Braves, and Holliday will help the A's a hell of a lot...just don't know if its enough. The Rockies shouldn't miss his bat as much; they've still got Hawpe and Atkins, Tulo, etc etc.

And the Marlins got rid of Olsen and Willingham for Bonifacio for prospects...for all I know the Marlins will make those prospects turn into another Hanley. They got him for Mike Lowell(not a bad trade, huh?)

They have the money for that? Congrats thermos on your phillies. I was glad to see them win since they are National league, the brewers lost to the world series winners, and Jenkins gets a championship.

As much as I would like to see CC remain a brewer, they just can't offer the money other teams can, he will probably be a Yankee.
