Well typically the majority of them are about an inch long, but the largest ones were about 2 inches, but this one was massive.
It would make sense if they were looking for bugs around my house. It hasn't had an Orkin man or anything by here since I've lived here. And there's a crappy little creek behind my house's back yard that goes down about 20-30 feet and it's coveredin shrubbery, weeds, and other fun creeepy crawlie havens.
There's also lots of trees surrounding my house and a lot of bushes around it too. If that's the characteristics of a wolf spider then I'm almost positive it's a wolf spider

It's impossible to identify that spider from that picture. If I could see the top of it I could have told you. It probably is a wolf spider but definitely not a recluse.

BTW: A bunch of grown men afraid of spiders. It's a tiny bug that you can squash with your finger and they eat all the real pest insects. Embrace the spider you sissies.
