The Jackson thing. Cover your eyes, cuz it ain't gonna be pretty. There are people, as we speak, gathering outside the hospital to memorialize a fucking pedophile. He was a molester of little boys. Plain and simple. He destroyed lives, then wrote checks to make it all go away. To quote a friend, I'm sure he's getting a pitchfork prostate tickling in Hell. But Thriller was a fantastic album.

Thriller is a fantastic album. And I seriously don't listen to poppy stuff. But it was just a really good album. He was a super talented weird little guy. And I agree when I hear people talking about him crossing race barriers and breaking down those barriers. Making it OK for for "mainstream America" to accept black performers. No doubt. All very true.

That said, this asshole was a fucking predator. He manipulated the family of a motherfucking 12 year old cancer victim so he could touch the kid. A fucking cancer victim. This guy was the worst of the worst kind of pedo. He not only wrote cheques to make the problem kids go away, but he had an army of lawyers, detectives and musclebound thugs to intimidate the kid's parents when they squawked. And it wasn't the first or the last time he pulled these shenanigans. Billy Jean was a really really catchy little ditty. But this cocksucker was pure fucking evil.

Now, we're going to be swamped by this story for at least the next week. Which I think is a good thing. Because this is a big story. Of the proportions of the JFK assination? No. But of the proportions of Elvis dying? He's sold a shit ton of records (Fox News just said 750 million), sold out shows all over the world, has been a huge star over five decades. His slated comeback show in London sold out in no time. Arguably he was one of the 20 most recognizable figures in the entire world. Every corner of the world. And he was a polarizing figure. Do any of you know anybody who literally has no opinion whether or not he was was nuts? Was a screwball? Was a kid toucher? I seriously doubt it. We can deny it all we want. We can dislike it all we want. But this is the story of the year. And it's just going to snowball from here.

As an info junkie and star fucker, I for one am just going to sit back and enjoy the ride.
