Green Bay totally made the right call. How would it look to Aaron Rodgers and the rest of the team if GB management took him back. They would basically be saying (to Rodgers) "we have no confidence in you or your abilities". He was pushed out because he wasn't supposed to be back. You can't start building a team around a new QB, then just take your old QB back because he changed his mind.

The problem is, he keeps doing the whole retire/unretire thing. If he still wants to play, he shouldn't fucking retire, then a month later fucking say "Hey, I want back in."

pushed out!?!?! farve has been playing the "maybe ill retire. maybe i wont" game for the last 5-6 years. thats a fact. he held that franchise hostage every offseason. its one thing to want to keep playing, and its another to keep jumping back and forth and jerk around managment.

and of course they didnt let him go where he wanted! why would you give minny the last piece they need to become a superbowl team (farve at 60 yr olds is still better than that bum they have). fuck farve. its not 1996 anymore

yeah shit was awkward bc the team decided to put their business out in the public! the guy is having problems coming to grips with the end of his career, you dont tell everyone that hes dicking your team over! the team fucked it up by being insensitive and leaking info to try to embarrass him into staying retired.

bottom line is the guy made millions for the packers, they shoulda showed him more respect.
