As you can see, I've been here a while, but I kinda threw myself in head first without relating to anyone, so to clear some bar air (hopefully), I'll throw some Steve Wrighty factoids out there.

Real name: Pete. The reason for my pseudonym is that I wanted Venkman when I first got my dreamcast years ago, but venks was taken, plus Spengler and Zeddemore weren't debonaior enough.

Married to Annie. We have 2 boys. Luke (6) and max (1). max has developed a lactose intolerance after a viral infection so his nappies/diapers have been armageddon on fucking toast lately.

I drive a truck for a living, and repair computers in my spare time. I've just built my own system, with only a graphics card to come. I try to write short stories, and have printed a few here in their own thread (link below once I find it).

I've spent 4 weeks in Oz, 2 weeks on a cruise ship sailing around the med, and a month in hell after I was falsely accused of one of the most despicable crimes known to man. That ended on April Fool's day, 2002, the same year I got married (Best and worst year of my life).

I have a few tattoos, nothing spectacular. I also turned down mensa after I found out that all you get for your membership fee is to stand in a room and argue about stuff.

I tend to have an opinion about a lot of things, but that seems to piss people off in the wrong place, so I'll attempt to speak only when appropriate.

That'll do for now. Here's the link to the story thread. I'm always on the lookout for inspiration to write again...

I'm checking out at the drug store and I overhear the manager talking to the new cashier. A tall skinny bloke with tattoo sleeves, and ear holes. We don't expect for that accent to come out of your mouth'. And the dude is looking down not smiling at all. I can see him thinking, what an asshole, which was what I was thinking. Anyway the dude had a really thick Scottish accent. I barely understood him. I wanted to say, Hey, you know max??!!
