This was great. Really funny. And it also had Mr.T, Bruce Campbell as an obese mayor and Neil Patrick Harris as a Monkey that could say amazing things like 'Yellow'.

Took my daughter to see this in theaters to pacify her, but damn it was hilarious. You're right, Bruce and Mr. T make the movie... I was worried about how you take a 15 page illustrated book and turn it into a feature-length movie (remember when feature-length meant 2 hours, now they make movies that are 80 or 90 minutes and could just as easily have been released as after-school specials or on the hall-fucking-mark channel), but the shit turned out to be golden. I wonder if they'll make Pickles to Pittsburgh next.

Anybody else seen and liked this? I'm gonna try to play hookie at lunch and see a movie and this one starts at the right time, but that's a piss poor criterion to use when picking a movie.

Not a bad movie - I usually can't stand Ethan Hawke for lots of reasons, not the least of which is the fact that an ex-girlfriend of mine acted in some plays with him and he's apparently not a big fan of "showers" or "soap" or "hygiene" or other little niceties like that, but he was okay here, and Don Cheadle is good in just about everything.
