There's nothing more exhilarating than pointing out the shortcomings of others, is there?

Settle down with that Team Quest shit. Do you train there? If not, living in the same city doesn't mean anything. I know people who live in Albuquerque and they don't know Keith Jardine.

Kiss my ass.

You know what? your right.
I went too far in angry post, too drunk, etc.
I got nothing to gain by engaging here.
I'll bow out of this, I can tell I was wrong throwing in with this crowd.
Long live the WWE!!!

Drunk posts have gotten the best of all of us at some point, I wouldn't worry about it. I would say we've ahd the WWE guys getting into MMA conversation about 9 million times and not that I expect you to read the whole thread, but it's all there. It's a touchy subject that no matter who brings it up, someone ends up taking their toy box and heading home. If you ahve some isnight to add about other stuff going on, I say add to it.
You know any of the guys fighting at the Sportfight on April 3? I was going to head out to the casino to check it out, but I'm stuck going to a wedding for a friend. Lame. If you're out at Quest, that means you probably roll a bit with Cole Tooms, Roddy Piper's kid, yeah?

Hah! I'm carrying a hundred pounds on Colt.
He has potential to go far @ 145, though that's gotten crowded.
Saw him demolish @ SF23. Impressive.
Besides the weight, I'm old & soft now, but there were days...
Haven't been around a gym much since I've been back in PDX the last couple of years, and though I run into a few guys here and there in the SE, just keep in touch enough to talk shit with the 'old guard'.
To be perfectly honest, I am not a huge fan of the management, and just don't like the way Quest kind of fractured/grew. Great run years back, Hendo's the man and I dig the Cali thing. The Matt and Randy show seems to have taken over the rest, but hey they're working, and have done a ton to promote the sport (as much as just about any other gym). I do like what I know of Dolce - from a coaching perspective.
Personal faves up here are elders like Chael. And I like what Scott's done out in Tigard with Enoch and the rest @ OJJ.
I don't claim to be a stat geek so I can only speak from my experiences coming from early standup (Golden Gloves) and wrestling (D2), and the social contact I've had with some of the characters.
Looking at the card for April's SF I've only seen a couple of guys go, and noone, other than Colt, that I have more insight. I'd imagine Jeffries should be good to go.
I love combat. Have for years. That's why I threw the Lashley/WWE digs. Those guys are freaks, but back in the day Tank was too. I'm all for the evolution, and if roids cases wanna scrap, great, but that's not my thing. I wanna see skills, not tshirts and fucking rodeo rope rides.
