Loaded questions. Since the wife's been off work due to crohn's, I've been driving her 2004 Cavalier. It's actually a nice car not to mention it gets much better mileage than my car.
My car is in the garage waiting since August for me to finish putting some stuff on. Optispark (think distributor that is flat and mounts to the front face of the engine behind the water pump and harmonic balancer), ignition module, coil pack, front/rear stainless steel 2-piston calipers, new SS 13.5" slotted rotors, SS brake lines, full fluid flush and refill, new fuel pump and harness, new AC compressor, lines, etc.
My car is a 1994 Chevy ImpalaSS. It puts out 287hp to the rear wheels and 335 ft/tq which means I get about 2/3's the mileage my wife's car gets.
I'm seriously thinking of selling it and buying a Carver (
www.flytheroad.com) when the come out, but I really like 2-tons of metal around me. Not to mention I'll be working 1.4 miles one way from home and in the Winter my car won't get warm even after letting it sit in the driveway for 15 minutes. Not to mention ONLY running a big V8 cold will quickly kill it.
