IMO, the guys that spend a week modding a case are the same guys that dress up in full costumes on opening night of LOTR, Dark Knight, IronMan, etc.

Some of those are creative and whatever but at some point it becomes the equivalent of this:

It's like "DAMN MAN, stop trying so fucking hard to impress! And WHO are you trying to impress anyways?"....

I'm a bit of a geek though. I love computers. Don't know why. But I got that case because it gets really hot in this room. It has all these fans, and a liquid cooling system.

FANS and a Cooling system is called FUNCTIONALITY. It serves a purpose.

Tell me what purpose this serves (besides giving the owner a hard-on when he boots up his cpu).

I'm not disagreeing with you. I just like my case. I do not see any reason to make it into a race car or anything. I wish I could make it smaller.

Hey Cmetz, i'm not dissing your thread. I am sure there are going to be some peeps here that think this shit is cool... i just personally think it's such a waste of time.

I guess if you are 15 y.o then hell, you have all kinds of time on your hands and this is no big deal.

I feel you though. My friend was overclocking his CPU and had to liquid cool it too. That stuff to me is sweet. Experimentation and stuff or adding functionality is worth time and effort, imo.

I mean seriously, how much time do you think this guy spent on this case?

20 hours? maybe more?

That liquid cooling works great. My CPU never gets hot, even when it's 90 degrees in here.

I'm a little retarded for DOOM. I was part of the whole compet-n competitions and stuff. I lost a lot of sleep breaking those records.
