I had a Toyota 4x4 pick up truck, we had some money and my parent bought it brand new off the lot.......only one problem...........it was a manual and I had no idea how the fuck to drive it.......loved that truck, had it for 8 years.

1979 Pontiac Sunbird



Hatchback, 2.8L V-6

Bought it from my older brother the minute I turned 16. $500 bucks. This is a scan of a pic I found, but before the obligatory "PONTIAC" windshield decal, and ABS louvers on the rear glass. The motor backfired like a motherfucker, and ended up trading the car back to him for a 1967 VW. He later had the block bored and some other shit, and then sold it. Used to see it around town from time to time.

1976 BMW 2002

Identical to this one. I did most of the engine work myself with the BMW tuners manual. Had it all through college until I flipped it on it roof, while high as a kite. The roof was all scratched up and that was it. I had it repainted and some guy offered me a ridiculous amount of money for it (I was moving to the continental US and couldn't have it shipped over) and so I sold it.

1975 VW Karmann Ghia Coupe. I had to buy it myself because my parents wanted me to drive my Dad's 1976 VW Beetle with rustholes in the floor pans that drenched your legs when you drove through puddles. Anyhow, mine was like this but it was bright yellow with a purple-tinted gold-flaked clearcoat. Paid $900 for it, put a Porsche engine in from my mom's cousin who wrecked his Porsche. I got into a wreck right before I left to go to Parris Island and it bent the front axle, so I had the axle out and was putting a new one in when I shipped out. Mom sold the car to her sister's husband for $400 not realizing that the engine was worth that much. Bitch.
