I like Lieberman a lot as well. I've heard rumblings that he's made the McCain short list. I think he would have problems with the staunch republicans if he did that though. He's already considered too liberal for a lot of conservatives. Bring in an "independent" to run with him and I think he'll have issues. That said, I would LOVE to see Lieberman run as his Veep.
With a Barack/Biden ticket thay could call this the Marxist National Convention....fucking socialist.

He truly dislikes the Clintons. Hillary would have brought more votes than Biden. Heck, there are a lot of Clinton people who say they are going to vote for McLame now. It may have been a mixed bag though. Hillary definitely would have solidified the shaky McLame base.
Biden was brought in to attack McLame. That way, Biden can take the heat and the Obamanation can rise above it all.

I love that Obama picked Biden. Normally the party in Convention rides the polls. As soon as Biden was announced, Obama dropped in the polls. McCain and Obama are even in the polls right now.
I know I may be putting my foot in my mouth on this one as there have been many Governors that have made great Presidents, but I feel most 20th and 21st century Governors turn president have been weak in too many areas. McCain will be the oldest seated President when he takes office. He needs a strong VP. I don't think Sarah Palin has all the credentials. She has little to no foreign policy experience. She looks good against Biden in debate and in front of the camera, as well as strong with the hard line conservatives, but is she really ready to run this country?
As far as Lieberman goes, he changes parties when ever the wind blows. I think he is ambitious and will do whatever it takes to achieve his goal. Charlie Crist is the Governor of my state and also considered on the short list for VP. I'm not very sure of him either, even though I vote for him as governor.
As we get closer to Nov. 4, more and more analyst are predicting McCain, by a very close margin, if he chooses the right VP. He'll need to pull a rabbit out of his ass if he wants to win. Remember, also, he hasn't ruled out Guiliano, Romney or Huckabee. Strangely, Thompson has not been mentioned as of late since he resigned and went back to acting. (BTW, all will be speaking at the RNC Convention)
Of course, this is only my opinion. Everyone has the right to differ with it. Some will use it as a forum to be an antagonist and make an ass out of themselves. I will no longer debate them nor respond to them. I do encourage healthy interaction.
