Well the blackjack was the older version, the Jack is the newer version, basically the same phone as the Blackjack II with some updated stuff such as the wifi. The blackjack II was a pretty solid phone, my wife had it. She is on her 3rd samsung phone and they have all been pretty good.
Blackberry's have better menu's and navigation though. The roller ball is very nice.

My buddies blackberry had an issue with the rollerball, but we run off road radio controlled cars and he left his phone one the pit bench one night and it got real dirty and the clogged his up, an air compressor fixed it quick

I've never actually owned a blackberry so I don't know how durable they are, but from playing w/ them I thought the roller ball was easy to use and worked well. It's very possible the roller balls could crap out.
The wifi was my biggest draw b/c when you are out if you ever really need to google something or tweet some twats you are usually never too far from a starbucks or panera bread.

hm yeah its seeming like i may do the nokia just for the wifi mainly. plus i like the design.
id feel like a douche with a BB that cant check email or go online
one thing ive read is the nokia comes loaded with a bunch of crap programs that ic ant get rid of without unlocking it. how would i unlock it (for free)? cuz i know theres companies that do it for a fee...
and if i unlock it, would i still be able to use the data plan later if i added it to the plan?
