Impossible. The brain can't feel pain, even when it's leaking out. Unless of course, you have some other gelatinous substance in your cranium.

Had a molar and the adjoining wisdom tooth extracted today. The wisdom tooth had grown and locked into the molar. Wasn't that bad up until about an hour ago, now the pain is blinding.

Bad dentist. Only thing I had was a Novocaine headache, but then I have a high threshold for pain.

^^^ Guess it's too late for me. I'm bad at brush my teeth. Funny part though is that I've only had one cavity in my life and it was because that filling fell out that that tooth gave me problems and broke, so it had to be removed. This was the first time I've seen a dentist in over 25 years. To make matters worst, the first dentist that I saw, which tried to rip me off, told me I had 3 cavities on one tooth. The second dentist, when I came back 3 weeks later, wanted to know why. Turns out there never was any cavities.
It's dentist like the 1st one that gives good dentists a bad name.

I am 33 and the last time I visited a dentist was when I was eleven. It was an army dentist and he put those disgusting fluoride trays in my mouth and I threw up all over him. he told my mom to never bring me back. So i never went. The tooth I had pulled was my back molar and after years of neglect it rotted out. I am sure my teeth are full of cavities but I have never found out. I am type 2 diabetic so my doc suggested I have my teeth looked at as rotting teeth is a side effect of type 2. I go on the 2nd and i am sure it will be a bad experience.

Bob, don't think so negatively. As a diabetic myself, I now realize how important the care of my teeth are. Maybe, I just got lucky, but I've never had a bad experience with a dentist until the one before this one tried to rip me off. I just never saw a need for one.
